At the center of my work is a simple proposition: a work of art is never complete until someone stands before it.

Working in verre églomisé (reverse painting and gilding on glass) I use reflection not as a visual effect but as a medium. The mirrored surface collapses the distance between viewer and image, making observation an act of participation. The person looking becomes part of the work itself.

I am drawn to subjects that invite a sense of encounter. Birds appear at life scale, occupying the viewer's space with a startling immediacy. Familiar household objects are isolated, enlarged, and transformed from things we use into things we contemplate. Removed from context, they begin to suggest stories rather than illustrate them.

The reflective nature of the glass ensures that these narratives remain open. Memory, association, and personal experience enter the image alongside the viewer's reflection. What emerges is a work that exists somewhere between object and mirror, observation and participation, image and self.
